In April 2022, I bought my first FM synth: An Elektron Digitone. To learn how FM sound design works, I decided to try to recreate some classic FM sounds, mostly from the 1980s; more specifically, the years 1984 to 1986, which were drenched in Yamaha DX7 sounds.
