Dagon - The Underwater God - Witcher Lore

Who is Dagon? In the witcher, Dagon is an underwater deity worshipped by a group of Vodyanoi.
Dagon lies asleep in the underwater city at the bottom of lake Vizima, waiting till he is summoned.
When Dagon is summoned he is out for destruction, and who can, after all, stop a god-like Dagon?

This video is mainly about Dagon in the witcher, not the Lovecraftian Dagon, although I do mention that Dagon later on in the video.
Dagon makes his appearance in the witcher 1 where he is one of the bosses in the game, although it seems like he got most of his fame within the witcher games from Gwent instead where he was one of the leaders of the monster faction.
The witcher version of Dagon seems more violent and out for destruction than other versions of Dagon, so the question remains, what will happen if Dagon is set free.
