TalkTV contributor Esther Krakue has slammed the new Mattel film Barbie, calling it a “giant catfish”.

“Ten seconds into the film I’m just being shoehorned with this ideology, you know patriarchy this and feminism … it’s completely unnecessary,” she told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“I don’t mind them making this trash heap of a film.

“But let’s rename the film some pink feminist-like child film; let’s do that because this Barbie film is not Barbie related at all.”
