One big infrastructure project that Mumbaikars were waiting for, the COASTAL ROAD, is now open. At least, the first phase is. Not only will this road transform commute in South Mumbai, it will drastically alter the landscape of the Western coastline. The distance between Marine Drive and Worli is expected to take just 10 minutes, as opposed to the 35-40 minutes it used to take. Once the full project is open, a route which takes 2 hours will take just about 40 minutes!
