In this glassblowing demo video I create a borosilicate glass vortex marble from start to finish.

The core of this marble starts as a set of silver and gold fume spikes collapsed and compressed into a “bubble” rising from the depths. In the background, dark amethyst pebbles are cast across a solid rich blue base. The back side is decorated with raked lines of tan, sparkling blue and purple amber floating over the reflective silver fumed base.

Colors used in this build: Disco Sparkle, Dark Amethyst frit, Blue Spruce, Silver Strike 5, Unobtanium and Double Amber Purple.
