• The Demolding Mechanism: The machine, typically an integral part of the curing press, uses lifters or ejector pins to gently break the tire free from the mold surfaces. • Validation of Quality: A clean demolding is an initial quality check. If the tire sticks or tears, it can indicate problems with the rubber compound, mold temperature, or release agent application. A successful release signifies that the process parameters were correctly maintained.
• Transition to Finishing: Once demolded, the tire is transferred to a finishing station where any excess rubber flash (thin edges from mold seams) is trimmed, and the tire undergoes a thorough visual and mechanical inspection before being approved for shipment.
