Today I talk about and show image samples from BOTH versions of the Leica 50 Noctilux f/1.2. One version lists on eBay for over $69k and the other can be bought new for under $8k. BOTH pricey and expensive purchases. The Leica Noctilux 50 1.2 is a unique lens that is all about character, bokeh and beauty. This is a lens that can set your images apart from the rest and offers a a beautiful glow wide open at f/1.2 and stunning sharpness when stopped down.

This is a double aspherical lens and back non 1966 when it was launched it was quite the achievement in lens design.

This was shot on the Leica SL2-S, my favorite 35mm full frame camera.
