Sabudana thalipeeth is a Maharashtrian traditional fasting recipe. It turns perfectly crispy and tastes just awesome. If you don’t want to have the same sabudana khichadi all over again then this is a perfect option. You can serve it as evening snack for your kids at times as a change. Ingredients:
• 1 cup Sabudana / Sago seeds
• 1/2 Potato boiled, peeled and mashed
• 1 tbsp roasted Peanut powder
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Salt to taste
• Green chili paste
• 1 tsp Arrowroot powder
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 1~2 tsp Water
• Ghee
• 4 tsp Curd
• 1 grated Cucumber
• 2 tsp roasted Peanut powder
• Sugar
• Salt to taste
• Green chili paste
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method:
• Wash sabudana really good 3-4 times with water.
• Soak sabudana in enough water for at least 30 minutes.
• Drain all the water from sabudana and soak it for at least 5 hours or overnight.
• Transfer the soaked sabudana into a dish and add mashed potato, roasted peanut powder,
cumin seeds, salt, green chili paste, arrow root powder, coriander leaves and mix everything
well together.
• Add water and knead dough. You can use rajgira flour in place of arrowroot powder.
• Take a little water in hand and take small portion of dough.
• Make a ball of the dough with water and flatten it in your hands first.
• Spread a little ghee on the pan and transfer the dough ball on it.
• Wet your hand a little and spread it into thalipeeth carefully. Spread it evenly and round.
• Turn on the gas and cover the pan with a lid. Cook the thalipeeth for about 3-4 minutes.
• Remove the lid and cook until it gets nice crispy from lower side.
• Spread ghee on the upper side and after cooking for about 4 minutes flip it over.
• When cooked well from lower side too transfer the thalipeeth into a dish.
• Upwas sabudana thalipeeth is all ready.
• For making koshimbir take curd in a bowl and add cucumber, roasted peanut powder, sugar,
salt, green chili paste, coriander leaves.
• Mix everything well together and koshimbir is all ready.
• You can have thalipeeth as it is or with koshimbir.
