Home Karaoke setup with AV receiver and mixer

I could not find a YouTube video addressing my intended home karaoke setup. I purchased the items I thought I needed but did not find the exact plug and play guidance I was seeking. So I thought it would be useful to share this once I finally figured it out.

Equipment list as follows from a mix of amazon.com and amazon.co.uk but all equipment are available on both sites just from different vendors.

Note for the mixer the voltage is NOT universal so you need to purchase a 120v or 240v version for your region. I purchased a 120v version from the US thinking it would be universal and ended up having to purchase a separate 240v power supply from the UK. I found our aftermarket accessories can be costly so ebay is your friend if you find yourself in this predicament.

Note for the dual quarter inch to RCA cable. You need two of these for this setup. One from the digital to analog converter to the mixer inputing the apple tv audio and the other from the mixer to the receiver to output the mixed audio to the speakers. Also I purchased 60cm long cables because I did not want a lot of dangling cables but ultimately feel that was a bad idea. Once we purchased a console it became clear that the equipment placement would end up requiring longer cables. Go for 3ft or 6ft instead to be safe
