Larger Throttle Body on my 3.7 V6 Grand Cherokee *Install*

Today we discuss swapping from a 3.7 to a 4.7 throttle body on your 3.7 v6. **This must be an electronic 4.7 throttle body, the cable driven throttle bodies will not work on a 3.7.**  This is a direct swap that make quite a bit more torque down low. To walk you through the steps of the swap, you first need to undo the clamp holding your factory air box to the throttle body. Followed by removing the 3 bolts holding the box to your intake manifold. After that you will need to unclip the sensor plug from your old throttle body and remove the 4 bolts holding your throttle body onto the intake manifold. Be sure to not drop anything down into your intake during this process. I recommend plugging the intake manifold with a ball of paper towel or a clean shop rag to help prevent dirt or contaminants entering your intake. Swap your 3.7 throttle body gasket onto the new 4.7 throttle body, remove the rag from the intake and place the throttle body onto the intake with the sensor plug on the left hand side of the motor. Then tighten down the bolts to spec, plug the sensor back in and reinstall the air box to your intake manifold.
