॥ १ ॥ बाल समय रवि भक्षी लियो तब
Hindi: बाल्यकाल में सूर्य भक्ष लिया, तीनों लोक अंधकारमय हो गए।
English: As child, you swallowed sun, darkening three worlds—no one could resolve that crisis.

॥ २ ॥ बाली की त्रास कपीस बसै गिरि
Hindi: सुग्रीव बाली पीड़ा से पीड़ित, तुम्हें खोजने पंथ निहारते।
English: Sugriva, trapped by Bali, scanned paths—you freed him in Brahmin form.

॥ ३ ॥ अंगद के संग लेन गए सिया
Hindi: सीता खोजने वानर भेजे, तुम समुद्र लांघकर प्राण उबारो।
English: Angad's army sought Sita—you leapt ocean, found her, saved their lives.

॥ ४ ॥ रावन त्रास दई सिय को सब
Hindi: रावण ने सीता को भय दिखाया, तुम राक्षस मारकर चिंता निवारो।
English: Ravana terrified Sita—you slew demons, gave Rama's ring for solace.

॥ ५ ॥ बान लग्यो उर लछिमन के तब
Hindi: लक्ष्मण प्राणत्याग कर बैठे, संजीवनी लाकर तुमने उबारो।
English: Lakshman's chest pierced—you brought Dronagiri, revived him instantly.

॥ ६ ॥ रावन युद्ध अजान कियो तब
Hindi: नागपाश में सब बंधे, गरुड़ लाकर तुमने बंधन कटवायो।
English: Nagpasha trapped Rama's army—you fetched Garuda, freed everyone.

॥ ७ ॥ बंधु समेत जबै अहिरावन
Hindi: अहिरावण ने राम को पाताल ले गया, तुमने संहार कर संकट टारो।
English: Ahiravan abducted Rama—you destroyed him and his army completely.

॥ ८ ॥ काज किये बड़ देवन के तुम
Hindi: हे महाप्रभु! जो संकट हो हमारा, बेगि हरो संकटमोचन।
English: You've solved gods' crises—what trouble can't you remove from this poor devotee?

English: Red body glowing, red tail held high, thunderbolt form crushing demons.
