The Ministry of Power has formed an investigation committee to find out the reason for the two-and-a-half-hour blackout in 21 districts of the southwestern region due to grid failure. The advisor said that from now on, load shedding will be provided equally in cities and villages and production at oil-based plants will be increased to meet demand. And LNG imports will be increased to alleviate the gas crisis.

গ্রিড বিপর্যয়ে দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমাঞ্চলের ২১ জেলায় আড়াই ঘণ্টা ব্ল্যাকআউট থাকার কারণ খুঁজতে তদন্ত কমিটি করেছে বিদ্যুৎ মন্ত্রণালয়। উপদেষ্টা জানান, এখন থেকে শহর ও গ্রামে সমানভাবে লোডশেডিং দেয়া হবে এবং চাহিদা মেটাতে তেলভিত্তিক কেন্দ্রে উৎপাদন বাড়ানো হবে। আর গ্যাস সংকট কাটাতে এলএনজি আমদানি বাড়ানো হবে।
