Uniroyal Rainsport 5 track test @ Oulton Park (MR2 2ZZ)

Track test of Uniroyals new Rainsport 5. Very impressed with them in very challenging conditions at Oulton Park with storm Dennis in full effect.

I went for a narrower tyre at the rear than I'd normally run in the dry. 195 front and just 205 rear. Seemed to work really well at cutting through the standing water but still give outstanding lateral/braking grip.

Grip was that good I had to reduce tyre pressures by 10psi and was even getting brake fade running track pads front and rear.

The Uniroyal Rainsport 5's are an excellent wet weather tyre and much better than the previous Rainsport 3 that i'd also ran on previous track cars.
