When Should One Invest a Lumpsum in Mutual Funds?

There is no cause for panic for investors during stock market falls because India’s growth is strong. One needs an equity mutual fund with low volatility in one's portfolio and this is where large cap funds fit in. Large cap mutual funds have the power to withstand shocks in the stock market and are a must have for every portfolio. Also one needs to check how the large cap fund is able to navigate bull and bear markets. One could pick large cap funds and large and mid cap funds for the core portfolio.
