One day, while staring at his reflection in the mirror, AumSum wondered what life would be like if people never stopped growing. And then just like that, AumSum started growing taller every single day.

His feet outgrew his shoes in hours, and his shirts became crop tops by lunchtime. By the end of the week, he was taller than the tallest giraffe in the zoo. People stared in amazement as he ducked under bridges and peered through the windows of skyscrapers. He could pick apples without needing a ladder and see the clouds up close.

But things started to get tricky. Beds were too small, chairs too tiny, and doorways way too narrow. A single pizza slice looked like a breadcrumb, and even a giant watermelon felt like a grape. Every time he took a bite, he needed ten more. Grocery stores couldn't keep up with him.

As his body grew, so did his problems. His voice grew so deep it shook windows, and his steps caused tiny tremors. Birds started building nests in his hair, and clouds began fogging up his glasses.

Soon, AumSum found himself walking across countries in a matter of hours. But no matter where he went, he couldn't find anything his size. Airplanes, trains, playgrounds - all were too small. Now his arms were longer than city blocks, and even a whisper from him could blow someone’s hat away.

The Earth itself started to groan under his growing weight. Trees leaned away as he passed, and rivers changed their course to avoid his enormous footsteps. Space quickly became a problem. There was just no more room to grow. Even the clouds had to part to make way for his head, and soon he was bumping into satellites.

That’s when AumSum realized that growing forever wasn’t as fun as it had seemed.
