Ghana’s main opposition leader and presidential frontrunner John Dramani Mahama says he'll renegotiate an International Monetary Fund program in an effort to reduce taxes if he wins next month’s elections. "We need to look at how we can refinance some of this so that we smoothen out the trajectory of the debt repayments," Mahama told Bloomberg's Ekow Dontoh during an interview in Accra. Ghana introduced new tax measures last year to raise revenue in a bid to meet requirements for the $3 billion IMF bailout.
