If you were like me in the early 2020s, you were probably documenting a decent chunk of your life on BeReal. And if you're still like me now, you probably deleted the app and forgot about it, leaving all of those photos on some app you don't use anymore. But you can get them out and migrate them all to your personal photo library. Here's how.

Download Python for All Platforms

Terminal Commands
Check if Python is Installed: python3 --version
Download the GDPR Toolkit with Git: git clone "https://github.com/hatobi/bereal-gdpr..."
Create a Virtual Environment: python3 -m venv [name]
Enter the Virtual Environment: source [name]/bin/activate
Install the Toolkit Dependencies: pip install Pillow piexif iptcinfo3
Run the Script: python3 process-photos.py (if this doesn't work, try replacing python3 with python)
