"End of a Year was formed when Mikeohfive wished to play music similar to bands of the early DC emocore scene (Embrace/Rites Of Spring, etc etc) and hopefully be an inspiration to others as those bands were to him. Patrick answered the call to arms within minutes of a post on a message board and Eric followed shortly after. The band finally rounded out their sound with additional members Hans, and Dave Zeedman. This band is about having fun, expression (personal and otherwise), and making great music. All the members contribute highly and that's what makes it a band rather than one person leading it."
