Sure, store bought ketchup is convenient, but I’m on a mission to get back to the basics and create as much of my food from scratch as possible.

This way, I always know what’s in my food and don’t have to worry about high fructose corn syrup, the mystery that is “Natural Flavor,” or the arbitrary “Spices” added to most store bought versions😬

INGREDIENTS:
2 (6-oz) cans tomato paste
⅔ cup water
⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup organic cane sugar
2 tsp salt
Optional: ½ tsp onion and/or garlic powder

INSTRUCTIONS:
🍅Place all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and whisk thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved.
🍅Store in a jar and keep in the fridge for up to two months. Enjoy!
