Oxford Canal to Banbury Narrowboat Cruise (Episode 11).

Our Oxford Canal cruise continues to historic Banbury, through typically British rural countryside. You've heard the nursery rhyme "ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross, to see a fine lady upon a white horse" - well, this is THAT Banbury. It's also a town with loads of history, and close association with Oliver Cromwell back in the days of the English Civil War. Historic buildings, good food, a lively small town and of course a beautiful canal. What more could we ask for!

We've recently bought a narrow boat, on which we are exploring the 3500 km of canals in the UK. I'll be documenting those adventures on YouTube, and on my other social media channels. After that, who knows? Perhaps a camper van trip through Europe next summer, and Portugal is definitely on our bucket list, perhaps as a winter "getaway".
