Colt Farris Fishing 2021 TBF National Championship Red River (Pt.1) - Road to Living the Dream

This tournament was the TBF National Championship and fishing for the Living the Dream Package. Goal is to win. Winning it all gives you a truck a boat and a year paid on tour all inclusive. Also winning your division gets you a birth into the BFL All American, one of the most prestigious tournaments around in fact less people have qualified for it than the Bassmaster Classic. On day 1 I did exactly what I wanted to do stayed close enough to strike did not burn to many fish and left my spot early. In this instance my particular division happen to be smacking them so I had a larger deficit to make up then I would have liked to had but still close enough. I was locking down into pool 4 of the Red River from takeoff in pool 5. Took me around an hour and 45 minutes to get to my 1st spot. and my fish really did not start biting till around 10am I had all my bites between 10am and noon. Some things during the day did not go my way but still a great day and right where we needed to be.
