And even in this offbeat country, I explored a region far beyond the tourist trail.

The Zambezi region of Namibia.

It’s where Namibia brushes shoulders with Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Angola—so the culture here is a rich mix of traditions, languages, and stories. People wave as you pass by, hippos snort in the background, and time slows down to the rhythm of the river.

The Zambezi Region doesn’t shout. It hums quietly. And if you let it, it’ll steal your heart.

We stayed in the Chobe Princess Houseboat for 2 days, and it was UNREAL!
