4K Walking in the Heart of Tromso Norway

Join us on this brief walk through the very charming city of Tromso.
Tromsø’s city center is relatively compact, which means that most major attractions, shops, restaurants, and hotels are within walking distance of each other.
You can take leisurely walk along Tromsø’s waterfront just before sunset. The view is reminiscent of Bergen’s Hanseatic Wharf, with colorful buildings and reflections of the surrounding mountains in the calm fjord waters.
You can walk across the Tromso Bridge or take buses (such as 20, 24, 26, or 28) from the town center to visit the Arctic Cathedral (Ishavskatedralen). Its striking lines are visible from almost anywhere in the city.
With only a day in town, you’ll have no trouble seeing the local sights by walking. However, if you want to explore the beautiful countryside, you may need to travel by car or bus.
