Excellence of Enlightenment

Every human being passes through three states of consciousness – waking, dream and deep-sleep. The Masters tell us that the purpose of human life is to find the fourth state of Consciousness – the state of spiritual Enlightenment. However, the mass of humanity is completely involved in the two fundamental motivations of acquisition and enjoyment. None has ever found permanent satisfaction, contentment in either of these pursuits. The rare one who attains Enlightenment alone finds absolute peace and bliss in life. Unaffected by the world he becomes a beacon of knowledge, love and selfless action.
