In 1964 my family spent the second week of their Dorset holiday in Swanage.(The film of the first week in Weymouth is also on youtube)
This clip features my parents, my brothers and myself on outings to Poole Harbour (by boat), Corfe Castle (by train),the Blue Pool and the Great Globe. We had no car,so either walked or travelled by bus, coach or train. And even though my mother was on holiday,she still had to wash my baby brother’s nappies by hand and dry them outside the caravan,as can be seen in this film
