BTS’ RM’s Announces Second Solo Album Right Place, Wrong Person. DESPITE STEPPING AWAY from performing together to complete their military duties, the boys of BTS are finding ways to keep their fans connected through their music. On Thursday, BTS‘ label Bighit Music announced that it’ll be releasing BTS leader RM’s 11-track album Right Place, Wrong Person on May 24, marking his second solo album release.
“Right Place, Wrong Person embodies facets of RM as a solo artist, distinct from albums released under BTS,” said BigHit Music in a statement. “[We] would appreciate the attention and support from many for this album that delves into RM’s authentic essence.”
December 2022 saw the release of RM's debut solo set, Indigo, which reached at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 all-genre list. Several musicians, including Erykah Badu and Anderson Paak, were featured on the album. Featuring youjeen, the lead single "Wild Flower" made its debut and peaked at No. 83 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Big Hit also hinted that RM "will unveil a diverse array of content, offering a further glimpse into the new album" before to the release of the BTS rapper's second solo album.

The album comes after his December 2022 album Indigo, which included hits including Youjeen and Anderson Paak's "Wild Flower," Erykah Badu and Anderson Paak's "Still Life," and Yun with Youjeen. In 2018, he also released a 7-track micro album.
As they finish their mandatory military service in South Korea, RM and the other members of BTS are anticipated to be back together in 2025. In August 2023, RM stated, "I'm thinking right now that when I'm working on my solo projects, this is just like a vacation to get back to where I was, which was BTS and ARMY."
