After roughly six months of working on this project on and off and having to backtrack several times due to finding new tricks or faster routes, the first ever TAS for this game has been complete! The time shown in the title uses TAS timing, which starts upon booting up the game and ends with the last input. With RTA timing, which starts when you gain control of Woody in Train Rescue and ends after the final textbox fades out, and with the slideshow cutscenes timed to their intended speed (because the slideshow cutscenes run slowly in this run for some reason), the run clocks in at roughly 35 minutes and 55 seconds. This is an insane time, considering how not even a year ago it was considered near impossible to beat the game in under an hour.

If you're confused on what a TAS is, it is basically a playthrough of a videogame done in an emulator using special tools, such as savestates and frame by frame advances. With these tools (and many more!), you can replay sections of a game until you have a desired result, and then the emulator will play this desired recording back as if it were being done in real time. When making a TAS, sections of the game are optimized and played repeatedly until they are as perfect as possible, making for a very fast paced, entertaining display of how quickly a game can be beaten theoretically. Keep in mind that TASes are just demonstrations, they are not actual speedruns!
