Suzuki SV1000 Project Bike - Part 10 - Checking and Repairing the Stator Magnets, a Common Problem!

Hello everyone, welcome back to the channel!

In this video, I will be carrying out a repair of the fabled stator magnets on the SV1000. This issue is found on most of the big Suzuki V-Twins however including the TL1000, SV 1000 and DL1000 - V STROM.

The fault with the magnets on the SV stator are widely documented and the fix is simply to re-glue them and apply JB Weld or similar to ensure that they can never move again!

It is not a difficult task but if you want to do it properly then removal of the stator from the crank is your best bet.
