The region is seeking to develop and expand a sustainable green hydrogen production and distribution infrastructure.

The Energy Region Vorpommern Greifswald is the gateway to Scandinavia and the Baltic States.The territory is part of the baltic sea region, one of the most dynamically growing business areas worldwide. There is an extremly high availability of vast areas for industrial and business settlements.

The chemical park concept was born in Saxony-Anhalt. Once known as traditional industry sites, Leuna, Schkopau and Zeitz are now innovative chemicals and plastics locations at the heart of Europe. Significant potential for cooperation exists with companies already on the ground. Moreover, there is also great potential for future technologies in the energy and chemical sectors.
