As part of Airius' ongoing testing and development research smoke tests were carried out on a variety of units under strictly regulated conditions to show the speed and efficiency at which the Airius system circulates airflow to destratify any given space. You can see the unit from initial start-up, sending the naturally buoyant smoke representing hot stratified air, down to floor level in a tight narrow column before spreading out radially and eventually rising back up to ceiling level achieving temperature equalisation. Testing was also conducted on some of the main destratification fan competitors with revealing results, confirming the Airius system as the most cost effective and efficient destratification system available.
