What's a bar feeder? It's a machine that automatically feeds material into another automated machine. In this video raw material (Aluminum bar stock) is turned into spindles for bicycle pedals.

I was able to visit Straitline Manufacturing in Victoria, British Columbia, in 2011 and they were nice enough to let me make this video, as well as a few more. Straitline custom manufactures mountain bike parts, and are known world wide.
