Today on Booze On The Rocks I show you how to make the perfect Dom Pedro. This South African desert cocktail has been around since the 1970's and is a decadent treat. Made with Amarula, heavy cream and Vanilla ice dream, I introduced Kahlua to add a little coffee flavor. This drink is usually made with Whiskey. This is the best known of the South African cocktail recipes and I can see why, with its creamy texture and sweetness it's WOW and I mean Wow!!

DOM PEDRO

8 oz/250 ml Vanilla Ice Cream
2 oz/60 ml Heavy Cream
2 oz/60 ml Amarula
1 oz/30 ml Kahlua

Method

1. Add all ingredients to blender.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Pour chocolate syrup into glass.
4. Pour the Dom Pedro into glass.
5. Garnish with milk chocolate shavings and a chocolate round.
