What happened in Sha Tin during Hong Kong anti-extradition bill protests?

Sha Tin MTR station closed after angry crowd vandalises facilities over detainment of turnstile jumper (25/9/2019 from https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/p...)

Hong Kong’s rail operator has shut down its Sha Tin station after a confrontation between police and residents, prompted by anger against how the MTR Corporation handled a man suspected to have jumped the turnstiles.
The MTR Corp closed the station on the East Rail line soon after 9.40pm on Wednesday.
Irate commuters and residents had surrounded the station’s customer service centre from 7pm after a man was reportedly stopped by two plain-clothes MTR staff members. The operator was accused of mistreating the man, who was later sent to hospital.
The crowd had demanded his release and an explanation from employees. Some people sprayed paint on the glass screen of customer service counters, ticket machines and turnstiles at the station.
Riot police arrived at 9.35pm to disperse the crowd.
As people scattered, officers chased them down, with at least one man and a woman arrested and taken into police vehicles.
The MTR Corp announced at 9.42pm the station would be shut temporarily and trains would not stop there.
Before police left, a brief confrontation occurred outside the station, and a woman among the crowd was sent to hospital.
The rail operator has come under fire in recent weeks in a city roiled by more than three months of anti-government protests.
Critics have accused it of bowing to pressure from Beijing, after it obtained a court order to prevent disruption at stations, and repeatedly closed facilities near expected protest sites.
More than half of its 91 stations have been vandalised, with protesters setting fires at entrances and going on rampages over consecutive weekends of unrest.
