BIOMASS COOKSTOVE

Inefficient and dangerous cookstoves are used in a large number of Indian households to prepare food. By burning fuel more effectively and producing fewer emissions, biomass cookstoves provide a greener cooking energy source. Improved biomass cookstoves are anticipated to improve the welfare and health of society's most disadvantaged citizens. Decreases in cooking time, fuel use, and hazardous emissions are indicators of a cookstove's effectiveness. Unfortunately, most cookstoves available in the market are either costly or ineffective due to incomplete fuel combustion and poor flame control. This VIDEO aims to develop and test a low-cost biomass cookstove that addresses the challenges of current cookstoves. The success of this project lies in delivering the idea to remote villages, enabling the independent building of efficient biomass cookstoves, and promoting their usage.
