Investiture Ceremony held at GHQ - 6 Sep 2020 (ISPR Official Video)

Investiture ceremony held at GHQ Rawalpindi on 6 Sep 2020. General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) was the Chief Guest on the occasion. COAS conferred military awards to Army personnel for acts of gallantry during various operations.
Families of shuhada / ghazis, senior serving military officers / soldiers also attended the ceremony. 40 officers were awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), 24 officers / soldiers were awarded Tamgha-e-Bisalat and a soldier was awarded United Nations (UN) Medal. Medals of shuhada were received by their family members.
Paying rich tribute to shuhada and ghazi, COAS said that time has tested us on many occasions, and every time we came out with success. Pakistan is a living reality and our blood, our spirit and our action at every front will be witness to the fact.
COAS lauded brave families of shuhada for supreme sacrifices they rendered for the country.
