I remember the excitement I had when I first started selling on Amazon. It seemed like a limitless opportunity to sell anything and everything. I was initially doing Retail Arbitrage then Online Arbitrage. Reezy Resells and others looked like they were making a killing; I wanted in too. I learned all I could about Tactical Arbitrage so I could find all the best deals to flip. What ended up happening; I was buying a lot of different SKU's and was able to fully research each SKU prior to selling to determine the risk of an IP complaint.


Little did I know at the time that there were all these restrictions and potential pitfalls; one of them being IP complaints. I remember when I received that first complaint on my account; it scared the crap out of me. I couldn't believe it. I google searched all I could and found out a lot of contradicting information. I suddenly thought everything I worked on would collapse after a few dings on my account.


I thought; how can I move forward with the amazing opportunity of selling on Amazon FBA with all this inherent risk of getting what seemed like random IP complaints from brand owners? I started to learn what to look for on a listing to avoid the justified wrath of brand owners. I learned what to google in order to minimize the risk.


Although I have now switched over to 100% wholesale and working with brands to grow their business; in this episode I hope to teach you what to look for so you can avoid getting IP complaints and you can have perfect account health like me.
