How good is the SWYTCH Ebike Kit?

I bought the Swytch Kit (https://www.swytchbike.com/) on a pre-order with my own funds to see how it works. I was honestly a bit disappointed by the way the speed cut-offs work and the lackluster acceleration. The good range for an incredibly small battery could work well for some.
