This is a case showing before and after laser gum treatment with X-Rays and pictures that show regeneration without bone grafts.

This video shows a periodontal probe inside the gum. A periodontal probe is an instrument like a ruler that takes the measurements in millimeters. Notice the instrument has colors on it. The beginning of the first color on the periodontal probe represents 3 millimeters. The periodontal probe then extends to 6 millimeters where the colored line ends. Then a new colored band begins this would represent nine millimeters the end of the colored band on the periodontal probe will represent 12 mm. Therefore the dentist hygienist or periodontist will insert this ruler between the gum and the tooth and take a measurement in millimeters healthy numbers are 1,2 or 3. Also this instrument is not intended to puncture the skin it is not sharp but dull. Therefore there should be no bleeding when the instrument is inserted with firm pressure. Notice the blue numbers on the photos of the teeth and gums these represent the periodontal pockets (diseased tissue) and the sulci (healthy tissue).

These pictures were taken before and after the LANAP Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure was done. This patient was diagnosed with Advanced Periodontal disease by means of X-Rays clinical appearance clinical signs and symptoms this patient had consulted other dentists and periodontists and was told to remove several teeth. She did not want to loose her teeth. She looked online for an alternative to traditional periodontal treatment. Notice the X-Rays of the before situation show almost no bone around the lower anterior tooth. Any traditional dentist or periodontist would have and did recommend removing her teeth. Fortunately she did search out an alternative to removing her teeth.

Some advanced periodontists may have tried a bone graft in this situation also known as GTR Guided tissue Regeneration. Several problems this clinician finds with GTR Guided Tissue Regeneration as opposed to LANAP Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure is that GTR Guided tissue Regeneration only focuses on one tooth at a time where LANAP Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure cleans out the WHOLE mouth. Another advantage of LANAP Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure as opposed to Guided tissue Regeneration is that no bone graft or any other external biologics or foreign bodies need to be placed. Do a search for "Infuse spine magazine" there you will see INFUSE Bone Grafts are risky, however, and can come with dangerous side effects, including infection, male sterility, bone and nerve injury, urinary problems and a possible increased cancer risk. What makes this worse is that Medtronic is accused of paying off doctors to use its products, intentionally hiding the possible side effects and using deceptive marketing practices. A number of people have been injured after using Medtronic’s INFUSE Bone Grafts and have filed lawsuits against the company. Another product commonly used with GTR Guided Tissue Regeneration is BioOss. Bio Oss is a Bovine (COW) based product. It has been documented in the literature that a risk of Prions can be transmitted this would lead to Spongiform Encephalitis or Krupfield Jacobs syndrome more commonly known as Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy "MAD COW". Another advantage between GTR Guided Tissue Regeneration as opposed to LANAP Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure is that with the laser procedure no scalpels are used. Another advantage between GTR Guided Tissue Regeneration as opposed to LANAP Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure is that with the laser procedure no sutures are used. Another advantage between GTR Guided Tissue Regeneration as opposed to LANAP Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure is that with the laser procedure there is a biostimulatory effect do a search for laser biomodulation to see the health advantages laser have on healing.
