An Anime About Fishing, Philosophy and Depression

The Fall 2024 anime season has seen a ton of heavy hitters with shows like DANDADAN being one of the most anticapted anime of the year, and Re:Zero returning with it's 3rd Season and still delivering in terms of the story of the quality. But there have been a ton of shows that have gone under the rader because they have been drowned out by the hype of the most popular shows of this season. One of these shows goes by the name Negative Postive Angler and it is the anime we will be talking about today.

This is a short anime review and a bit of pretentious naval-gasing on Negative Postive Angler, an anime about fishing, that, while seeming like another show you could throw in the season trash pile, is actually a really beautiful story that managed to keep me invested every thursday alongside DANDADAN.
