I would like to talk about how we can live as one body with Jesus.
In Romans 6:5, the apostle Paul said, "If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.”
First, we must always remember that we are one body in union with Jesus as the head, and we must constantly confess our love to Jesus.
We must confess with both our hearts and minds, confess with our lips, and demonstrate our love for Jesus through our actions
In 1 Thessalonians 5:10, the apostle Paul said, "He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.”
In Matthew 22:37, Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
Second, we must strive to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit.
Since we live in a world of darkness,
we must live a life filled with the Holy Spirit to overcome thoughts that come from the flesh, even though we live in the spirit.
In Acts 2:13, those who were watching the early church, "Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine.”
To be filled with the Holy Spirit, we must pray with the spirit and pray with the mind.
We must read the Bible in prayer, praise God in prayer, and focus our hearts on Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father.
In 1 Corinthians 14:15, the apostle Paul said, "So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.”
Third, we must resist the devil who prevents us from living as one body with Jesus.
We must realize that Satan can put thoughts into us, and the Holy Spirit can put thoughts into us.
In John 13:2, the Bible says, "The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus.”
In John 14:26, Jesus said, "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
We should observe our hearts, and if we have thoughts of friendship with the world,
we should immediately confess those thoughts to the Holy Spirit and cast them out of our hearts.
In James 4, the apostle James said that the world and the devil are obstacles that hinder us from living as one body with Jesus.
In verse 4, James said, "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God?”
Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
In verse 7, James said, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
In 1 John 2:16, the apostle John said, "For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world.”
