Innesti | Generative Ethereal Ambient | Eurorack Modular Synthesizer | 10

This is the 10th video in a series that focuses on generative modular ambient. In these videos I'll be using my Eurorack modular system to create meditative patches that breathe and float. I am especially interested in generative processes, allowing the modular system to "play itself" and create slowly evolving textures that have no beginning and no end.

Patch Notes:

This patch emerged in a fairly convoluted way, and completely by accident. The background "grit" was created by feeding some field recordings into Arbhar and creating a granular loop. That audio was then recorded into the Bitbox Micro, where it was played back, along with a simple guitar loop, into the Magneto and then into the Arbhar for granular looping. All of that was resampled back into the Bitbox Micro. That audio is then looping at two different pitches, with the output going through the Magneto and the Arbhar again. A little bit of reverb from the FX Aid to blur the loose ends. The final product isn't fully generative, although the raw material being looped here was created in a generative fashion.
