Situated in the heart of Waterloo, Iowas retail corridor lies Crossroads Mall. This historic Iowan mall was the largest and first 2 story mall in the state at the time.. With over 50 stores, 2 MASSIVE big box anchors and several junior anchors and restaurants. This was one of the premier Iowa malls through the years, in photos past you can see it in the hundreds of people bustling about the massive courts. But today, what you find is.. nothing.. Of all the malls I’ve been to this is one I’ve always come back to, and made so many memories at. Over th years I’ve watched stores and anchors leave and Christmas of 2022 I decided I would take it back one last time, and tell the full story of this amazing mall. And where it’s going for one of Iowas greatest lost treasures…
