Terbregge is een klein plaatsje dat aan beide zijden van het riviertje De Rotte ligt op enkele kilometers van Rotterdam. Rotterdam dankt zijn naam aan dit riviertje (een dam in de Rotte).
Vandaag rijden we vanuit Terbregge langs De Rotte terug naar het centrum van Rotterdam.

Terbregge is een voormalige buurtschap in het Rotterdamse stadsdeel Hillegersberg-Schiebroek.
Terbregge ligt tussen de rivier de Rotte, de spoorlijn Rotterdam-Gouda, (het verlengde van) de rijksweg A16 en de A20.
De huidige wijk bestaat uit de voormalige buurtschap Terbregge, die in de dertiende eeuw ontstond rond een brug over de Rotte, en de binnenstedelijke Vinex-locatie Nieuw Terbregge, waar sinds 1999 gebouwd wordt. In 1524 moet het gehucht ‘Terbregghe’ al bestaan hebben.

Terbregge is a small town on both sides of the river De Rotte and is located a few kilometers from Rotterdam. Rotterdam owes its name to this river (a dam in the Rotte).
Today we drive from Terbregge along De Rotte back to the center of Rotterdam.

Terbregge is a former hamlet in the Hillegersberg-Schiebroek district of Rotterdam.
Terbregge is located between the river Rotte, the Rotterdam-Gouda railway line, (the extension of) the A16 highway and the A20.
The current district consists of the former hamlet of Terbregge, which arose in the thirteenth century around a bridge over the Rotte, and the inner-city Vinex location Nieuw Terbregge, where construction has been going on since 1999. The hamlet of 'Terbregghe' must have already existed in 1524.
