Karen Read Defense Blasts Detective for ‘Disgusting’ Texts, Broke Down Definition of ‘Integrity’

Karen Read’s defense attorney blasted lead detective, Trooper Michael Proctor, for the “disgusting” text messages he sent about Read. Proctor called Read a “whackjob,” “babe,” made a comment that she had “no a**” and spoke about her medical issues. Read’s defense attorney asked Proctor if he knew what the word “integrity” meant then later read him the definition. Read is currently on trial for the murder of her then boyfriend, John O’Keefe.
