Paint Washing Tutorial

Basics of paint washing.

In this case, I will be doing a tan wash on mahogany, but the same rules apply to any combination of paint and wood.
Common applications include white wash on pine, beige wash on oak or grey wash on maple.

Whatever variation you choose, these instructions will be of use.

Correction- Honduran mahogany is the only genuine mahogany species commercially grown today. The US has continued to import mahogany. I was misinformed or what is more commonly referred to as wrong.
