Nagesh’s grandson plays the antagonist in Naan Yaarendru Nee Sol

Gajesh, son of actor Anand Babu and grandson of legendary comedian Nagesh, is debuting as an antagonist with Naan Yaarendru Nee Sol producd by P. Manimegalai under her banner ‘Sri Manimegalai Creations’. Debutant Keethidharan would be making his debut as hero in the film.

Gajesh, who debuted as hero with Kalkandu some time back, is attempting a different genre with the film which has debutant Surekha as the heroine. Actress Sona Heiden plays Surekha’s mother. Anand Babu, Pandu, ‘Karate’ Raja and Maran play prominent roles in the film which has music by John Peter. Bhaskar is the film’s cinematographer while AM Bhaskar has directed the film.

“The heroine works in an I.T. firm in the film and faces love overtures from both Keerthidharan and Gajesh, her colleagues from different departments in the same firm. Sona pulls them up for following her daughter. Trouble erupts when she gets killed a few days later. The rest of the film is about who killed her and whether he gets caught,” explains Bhaskar.

Billed as a crime-thriller, the film has been shot majorly in Chennai, Pollachi and in neighbouring Kerala. The film is likely to hit the screens in a few weeks’ time.
