This Is The Kit - Waterproof | After Dark Presents

We felt very lucky to have This is The Kit come to send our first season of After Dark off in style. Kate Stable's voice and writing is honest, accurate and unassuming, and their musical arrangements are always beautifully constructed and pitch perfect.

On the night they performed for us as a full band, with bass, drums and horns, but we had them play 2 stripped down songs for us first in the stunning & derelict park school.

Their new album 'Bashed Out' is out now and is a stunning record of their delicate tune-smithery. If you haven't bought it yet its well worth it, but in the meantime sit back and enjoy this stunning rendition of 'Waterproof.'

After Dark is an exclusive series of secret gigs and events, presented in dormant and unseen spaces on the magical Dartington Estate.

The After Dark acoustic sessions use beautiful and wondrous spaces, too small for audiences, but just big enough for a band, a sound recordist and a camera or two.
