Taking off from Lion's Head, crossing over to Table Mountain, along the 12 Apostles to the end (Judas Peak) and return to the Glen club via Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Some pilots made it to Kommetjie at the other end of Nordhoeck Beach, but we wanted an easy return. Wind was from the South West. Our first attempt to launch from Signal Hill at 1030 hrs failed when we struggled to get up Lion's Head in the light wind, so the second attempt started from the higher takeoff on Lion's Head.
