Meet Maisha Concept, a Singapore-based fashion which on a mission to create awareness of cultures and traditions across the globe through textiles.

Today in Singapore, a Maisha dress is instantly recognisable on the street for its bright colours, original prints and flattering silhouettes.

Founder Rakhee Shah left the corporate world of finance in 2015 to launch Maisha, first in the concrete jungle of Hong Kong, and moved the brand to Singapore in 2019. To create their textiles, Rakhee forged personal relationships with local artisans, travelling extensively to where they live, learning their ways and traditions.

Championing handcrafted clothing has its challenges, and growing the brand has been an uphill climb of consistently showing up and changing mindsets.

Today, Maisha Concept is part of a global movement for better clothing, arm-in-arm with skilled artisans, influencers, collaborators, game-changers and friends.
