Linda Zagzebski - Intellectual Motivation and the Good of Truth

Описание к видео Linda Zagzebski - Intellectual Motivation and the Good of Truth

Zagzebski's 2003 text was published in the book 'Intellectual Virtue: Perspectives From Ethics and Epistemology', edited by DePaul and Zagzebski. In this chapter, Zagzebski considers what it is for our epistemic 'acts' to be good in the epistemic sense of goodness. Is it for them to lead to true belief, or for them to be aimed at true belief, or for them to be motivated by a love of truth?
